Just can't make it to bed!

Our family of 4 had a movie night the other night, our first of many I am sure! Porter only made it into the first hour and then was ready for bed. Braylon told me at 9 o'clock that he was ready for bed too, so I said that he should give daddy a kiss and I would put him to bed, well after about 5 minutes I looked over and noticed that he had laid down on the floor, on top of his wrestler and fallen asleep! He had a very long and exhausting day and just couldn't make it into bed :)

Pumpkin Festival Fun!

The boys, Grandma Joan and myself headed up to Litchfield to a Pumpkin Festival two Saturday's ago. We all had a great time. We will definitely have to go back again next year, there was SOOOO much to do!
The boys checking out the ducks! The boys thought it was hilarious to hear the ducks quack at us!

Grandma holding the bunny so that the boys could pet it!

They had bouncy balls, Bray loved them! Porter I am sure would have loved it... If you could find one that was small enough for him to get on!

The boys found an old (very old) combine and climbed right in! They look like naturals!

This is a picture of the old combine (both boys are still in it), amazing how different they are today!

Braylon also found an old tractor and climbed up while Porter and Grams went to check out the chicken coop!

We were headed off on a Tractor ride and I was able to catch this cute picture :)

Grandma and Porter yelling at a combine that we saw!

They had slides everywhere for the kids!

Porter thought it was a lot of fun!

Porter went on a pony ride!

As did Braylon!

The really really really long slide! Porter flipped on his tummy half way down so that he could inch is way to the bottom!

Braylon went on the mower pull ride all by himself!
After he was done we went onto a Horse ride pulled on a path in the woods!
We had A TON of fun and there was SO much to do! Thanks Grandma Joan for the great idea!

Sunday Fun Day = Vikings Football!

Sunday's are BIG BIG days at our house, especially during the months of September through the beginning of February when it is football season. Ben participates in Fantasy Football (4 leagues, a big obsessive) and the boys really enjoy watching football with daddy! Porter wakes up on Sunday's yelling FOOTBALL!!!! That is right around the time that pre-game gets turned on in our house, so we literally have football on from 8 am until 10 pm (possibly later if the game runs long).
Last Sunday night the Vikings played so we headed over to Grandma Joan's and Grandpa Rick's to watch the game. Not much football got watched by these too little rugrats, they were too excited playing and wrestling each other and everyone else to watch, but Daddy, Grandpa and Uncle Zack watched plenty :)

Braylon being silly, sliding on the carpet.

Porter spinning Bray in the computer chair

Bray spinning P in the chair

Grandma spinning Bray

P was done spinning and wanted to play trains instead

So Bray started wrestling Uncle Zack

Then tried to get Grandpa

Then they both got Grandma.

I think they were relieved when we packed up and headed home and they could watch the last half of the football game in peace and quiet ;)

Sibley Park

Last Saturday the boys and I headed over to Sibley Park to meet up with some friends and check out the animals, before it got too cold for them to be out. I got a few good pictures before I realized that I didn't charge my battery, like I planned to and my camera died.

I also have this in black and white and just love the innocence of the picture... Might have to enlarge and hang in the entrance way.

I love this one too! The boys love holding hands!

It was kind of nice when my camera died, it gave me a chance to just enjoy the time with them. It won't be long before baby arrives and things will be even busier and I feel like I don't get as much time with them. So for the next 6 weeks we are going to soak up every second we can!!!

Nick Universe

A couple of weekends ago we took the boys to Nick Universe for the first time! THEY HAD A BLAST!!!!! Ben had to ride on all of the rides with them because pregnant women are not allowed on the rides. We can't wait for Valleyfair next year :)

On the train

On the Carousel, a very fast Carousel.

Porter fixing Daddy's hair while waiting in line (I think the hardest part for all three of them!)

Getting ready to go on the Diego Bus Tour...

On the semi ride.

We were all exhausted after a day of fun and the boys slept the entire way home!

One more ride...

Braylon got to help Papa Todd drive the forklift once again! He was very excited to get to load it on the truck after they were done. He thought that was the coolest thing ever! Porter was there as well and had fun sitting on the forklift and watching Braylon and Papa drive it around!

P hanging out on the forklift!

Pumpkin Fest

I am playing catch up from the past month! For some reason stopped blogging but didn't stop taking pictures, so I will update briefly...

We took the boys to Pumpkin Fest and they had a blast, as usual!

P picking out his pumpkin and of course he had to pick a bumpy pumpkin and a white pumpkin to bring home!

Braylon trying to figure out what one he wanted... He also brought home a bumpy pumpkin and then picked out the biggest pumpkin he could find!

He tried to bring this one home, but we told him we couldn't bring it home it was for pictures so he was ok with getting pictures taken instead.

Then my camera memory card was full so that was all I got of the day! The boys played games, ate piza and did a pumpkin roll (Braylon won!). It was a great time!

A new addition!

I had the pleasure a while back to take some pictures for a dear friend of mine, her family welcomed a little girl at the end of July and their son had turned 2 the end of June. So I took a few pictures of everyone! I totally forgot to post these until she asked me to do 3 month pictures...

What a wonderful looking family :)

A father's love!

My fav from my session with her!

I have TONS more pictures from their session that day and I am sure will have plenty after Ms. M's 3 month session as well! They just made it too easy! Thank you again M & S for allowing me to capture your family at such a special time!

Wrestle Mania!!!!

Benjamin has gotten Braylon into wrestling, I am not talking about high school wrestling, I am talking about TNA, WWE fake, drama filled wrestling! It makes me a little sad, but he really loves it, so as his mommy I will allow him to watch "wrestle" (as Bray calls it) and even allow him to play with the action figures.
Ben has a ton of wrestlers at the lake cabin from when he was young and Braylon LOVES to play with them, the other night we were at Grandma Pammy's having supper, Braylon and Grandma disappeared for a while and when the returned they had a huge box that was filled with wrestlers. Braylon instantly picked two of them (Hulk Hogan and DDP (he was trying to find Sting but couldn't, we found it on Saturday and he traded in DDP for Sting without hesitation)) and insisted that he get to bring them home. He has had those two wrestlers by his side for the past 4 days! Well yesterday I told Braylon that if he was really good that he could go to the store and pick out a new wrestler, and of course he bargained me up to two wrestlers.
We decided that we would go to Target in Mankato, thinking they would have a better selection (they definitely didn't). He ended up getting a ring and 6 mini wrestlers in a set, thanks to Grandma Pammy. He was the happiest kid EVER!

Braylon showing Porter how it works

Porter and Braylon playing together so nicely!
Porter was just as nice and allowed Braylon to play with his new train and track that we got for him when we were in Mankato.

My mother and I are going to the cities this weekend, we will be looking for a better selection of wrestlers at Toys R Us! Great Christmas presents!!!!

Last swim of the season????

After Braylon and I got back from Mankato we swung home and picked Daddy and Porter up and headed to Grandma Joan's and Grandpa Rick's to go for a quick swim and watch us some Vikings. Although the Vikings didn't do as well as we would have liked, the boys had a great time swimming!

Porter floating and squirting, while daddy pushes him around the pool...

Such a great smile!

Braylon was busy jumping and those pictures never turn out, they are always blurry especially with my point and shoot. I do have a great video I will try and post though!
Thanks Grandma Joan and Grandpa Rick for letting us come and swim! It was a great time.

Lifting Tires!

Braylon, Grandma Pammy and myself had to make a quick trip to Mankato so that we could return Daddy's tux from the wedding he was in on Saturday. Daddy and Porter stayed home and napped and watched football while we were gone.
When we went to drop Grandma off at her house, Braylon was surprised to see a fork lift sitting in Grandma's backyard. We had to get out and look at it, so Braylon asked Papa if he could drive with him and of course Papa couldn't say no! So they picked up a car that was on a trailer and then they picked up some tires that were still on the axle in the driveway! Braylon was SOOO excited that he was even telling me about it this morning.

Braylon lifting the tires up and down!

And again...

The car they picked up is in the background and they are working on picking up the tires.

I have always thought Braylon looked so much like Ben, until I see these two together!

Thank you Papa for letting Braylon drive his first fork lift, I am sure in just a year he will be certified to do all your fork lifting for you :)
