In a snow bank

Bray and I went out front to shovel the front side walk on Sunday afternoon, it was more a reason to just go outside and play. It was a little cold but there was no wind so we braved the cooler temps to have fun in the snow!
Bray kept falling over because he would sink in the snow and then lose his balance.

King of the boulevard!

Showing me that he threw snow on the road.

Eating snow... it was clean snow :)

Snow mustache!

Sucking the snow off of his gloves!

Early Riser

Porter likes to wake up at 6-7 am on the weekends. On Saturday he was up at 6:30. So he and I sat and played while the rest of the house slept! He was very generous on Sunday and let us sleep in until 8:45 (he must have thought that it was a weekday).

And this is how he woke up his brother, I can't thank John enough for this wonderful toy!

Great Grandma's Christmas.

We had Christmas at my Great Grandmas on Saturday. The boys had a wonderful time playing with all of the kids that were there. It is always wonderful to see everyone!
Uncle Kevin trying to talk Braylon into going to run around with all of the other kids...
Porter is our less shy child and he was roaming to see if anyone was willing to part with any food!
Trying to get a picture with all of the children on that side of our family. There are a lot of them! When you get that many children together picture turn out like that!
We had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas week!

D's Christmas Party

We had a busy weekend this weekend, we started off on Friday night at D's Christmas Party. Deana has a Christmas Party every year for the day-care kids and their families. It is always a wonderful time and it is so nice to get to talk with other parents and share stories.

Deana letting Porter snack before dinner time, if food is insight it must be eaten :)

Ben playing ring around the rosie with Bridget and Braylon. Those two play ring around the rosie and then when the part comes "All fall down" they tackle one another.

The kids signing Christmas Carols, well Bray and Porter didn't do much signing but the other kids did a wonderful job :)

Thank you Deana we had a blast :)

One more Request...

Porter has never taken a nuk not even when he was a baby baby. I don't have a single picture of him with a nuk... So Grandma Joan said that she needed a picture of Porter with a nuk as well (for her project). So after spaghetti and bath time I got out a nuk (I have a stash of them in the kitchen cabinet for Braylon) and gave it to Porter. He was very happy to play with it and walk around with it, he didn't do a whole lot of sucking on it but he sure enjoyed tormenting his brother...

Can you tell that he doesn't use these things... Wrong end Monkey!

Thinking he is the coolest...
He just kept biting it

Grrr....

In the end I took the nuk away from Porter and Braylon cried and Porter just continued to play... I am excited for the day that we don't have nuks anymore :)

After Spaghetti Comes...

BATH TIME!!!!!!!

Porter filling up his bucket to dump it over Braylon.

Braylon loves to play under the running water, being silly (like always)
Always has to have something in his mouth! Can you tell that he doesn't miss a meal ;)

The after effects...

Grandma Joan had a request that we get a picture of Porter with Spaghetti all over his face, she is working on a project of some sort and needed on of Porter with spaghetti sauce all over himself. So last night we made Spaghetti so that Porter could get nice and messy eating it all by himself, which is a must for him now, you can not help him eat, he is a do it yourself kind of child. Well he wasn't very interested in the Spaghetti, it was much more fun to squish it between his fingers and put it in his hair and all over his face... In another words Porter did exactly what Grandma wanted him to do :)
The after effects of a great tasting meal!

Braylon enjoying his spaghetti (he is going through a stage where we can't cut his spaghetti for him he has to eat it like Mommy and Daddy do) Which means he eats with his hands and slurps it getting Spaghetti all over his face! It is a good thing that them getting messy doesn't bother me :)

Pictures A la Mark....

Ben's uncle took Pictures of the three boys for Ben's mom this fall... They turned out wonderfully! Thank you Mark :)

One of my favorites, I love the pumpkin on the side!

Love Porter's face!
I like this one of the three of them!
It amazes me that Candon (feet on the left) and Braylon (feet on the right) are almost identical, we didn't put them this way. Just natural for both of them!
This one is my favorite one!
Hey guys check this out, Candon... Candon... Candon are you paying attention?

Thanks again Mark they turned out wonderful!

Where does time go????

Ben's Uncle, Mark, took some wonderful pictures of the three boys this fall. As I was looking at them there is one of Braylon and Candon that caused me to flash back to when they were little peanuts. So I starting looking at all of the pictures of them together and well I wanted to share! Coley enjoy :)

Their first picture together, no one would guess that Braylon would be bigger than Candon at 2...
Both supporting the Vikings... You wouldn't see them both in Purple these days!
Sharing so nicely together... too young to know any better.
Water Babies... One of my favorites!

Captains of the JJ Minnow!

Riding around in style...

A little rough play... Don't worry Candon gets Bray back (wait for the picture)
Jumping Jumper Roo's

Christmas Picture last year...

Candon says this is pay back... Don't mess with me!

Riding the Alligator

Chilaxin in the Chair....

Oreos in the dog kennel... NO better combo :)

Tubing for the first time together

Jumping Together...

Running together

And thinking together!

It brings a tear to my eye to think about how much they have changed over the last 2 1/2 years! They are amazing little boys and I am sure that when they turn 18 and are on their way to college there will be PLENTY more pictures of them together! It is so nice to have a cousin right around the same age for them to play with... Now if only they lived closer ;)

Old Favorite = New Favorite

Today's Blogs are all about Braylon, Porter was in bed last night at 7 pm... Sorry!

Braylon gets to be a little more daring every day! He is hilarious to listen to (he says the funniest things), he is so much fun to watch (has an obscene amount of energy) and he is one of the best snugglers I know (when he is in the right mood, usually when he is sick!) That giraffe was his favorite toy to ride when he was about 1, he has learned a few more tricks to make this old favorite a new favorite. It was a good thing Porter was sleeping because Porter LOVES this giraffe too...

He stands on it and rocks back and forth in order to make the giraffe move forward!
Just got done doing no hands, my camera wouldn't take the picture fast enough!
Look Mom no feet!
